मुलाला बापाची चप्पल आली या पेक्षा मुलगी बापावर गेली हे ऐकल्यावर सहर्षित होणारा तो माझा बाप. माझ्या जन्मानंतर पेढे वाटणारा तो माझा बाप. हाताचे बोट धरून चालायला शिकवणारा तो माझा बाप. आजारीपोटी माझ्या उशाशी बसणारा तो माझा बाप. मला स्वतःच्या पायांवर उभा करणारा तो माझा बाप.  अडचणीतून मार्ग काढायला शिकवणारा तो माझा बाप. वाईट वाटल्यावर खूप ओरडणारा, वेळेप्रसंगी माझ कौतुक करणारा तो माझा बाप. स्वतःच्या आकांक्षा बाजूला ठेवून मुलांसाठी झटणारा, तो माझा बाप. काळजावर दगड ठेवून आपल्या मुलीला सासरी पाठवणार तो फक्त बाप. आणि मुलीची सासरी ओळख बनवणारा तो फक्त बाप. अपरिमित कष्ट करणारं शरीर आणि काळजी करणारं मन, तो माझा बाप. - उमा मर्दा.

I used to think, people share their stuff only with me, never knew, I'm the last one in the queue. So, remember, you're not the only one.
